Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative – Industrial Distribution

Essential Funtcions Process requests for price, delivery, returns, order status, order expedites, product literature and technical product assistance.Create quotes and sales orders. Customer follow up to provide delivery dates and order status. Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and sales teams.Prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.Proactively anticipate customer's needs.Field incoming emails and phone calls. Assist and support Outside Sales teams. Upload data on customer internet portals. Skills, Experience, & Education H.S. Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or better preferred. 1+ years of customer service, sales and/or purchasing experience in a Manufacturing or distribution environment. Experience in Industrial Distribution or similar industry is preferred (Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Fluid Power, Electrical, Power Transmission, Motors, and Motion Control) Proficient with software programs including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, E-mail and vendor pricing programs Ability to learn and work within a CRM system is required, working experience with Trend (CRM) is a plus. Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical, mathematical, and mechanical aptitude. Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
