Responsibilities
Provide general LTL and volume quotingCoordinate and quote Fast Track / Time Definite shipmentsSchedule pick-upsTrace shipments and provide freight chargesProcess re-billings from sales reps, 3rd parties and customersProcess fax and Internet requestsHandle Managed Accounts and special requests from Managed AccountEffective and efficiently resolve customer issues and respond to customer questions regarding shipments; develop and maintain positive relationships with customersMeet monthly department telephone and email goalsAble to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customersHigh School Graduate or GEDProficient in general mathMust be able to multi-taskMust be able to type a minimum of 40 wpmPrevious experience in telephone customer service/call center environment helpfulTransportation experience preferredKnowledge of Microsoft Office Environment, particularly Excel, Word and EmailAn excellent phone voice and a colorful / dynamic personality is essentialComfortable with existing and constant changes in technologyExcellent verbal and written communication skills
