Customer Service Coordinator

Wilsonart, Temple, Texas has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Coordinator. This role Serves as a resource for the warehouses on validity and availability of orders, special requests, etc. Coordinates customers service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer service satisfaction. Performsother tasks as required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives orders from the warehouses and answers questions regarding validity, availability, special requests, etc.
Contacts vendors to get prices on freight costs.
Determines the appropriate packaging for shipments.
Communicates estimated cost and delivery time.
Coordinates back-order requests.
Coordinates additions and deletions to existing warehouse orders.
Receives requests for return of material from the warehouse.
Checks inventory for availability.
Prepares reports.
Checks on orders as they proceed through the production process.
Schedules carriers to transport material to the customer
Invoices shipments to the warehouse/customers

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of inventory control principles.
Knowledge of computers sufficient to utilize word processors, spreadsheets and databases.
Skill in operating office equipment.
Ability to communicate in both oral and written forms with all levels inside and outside of the organization.
Ability to work independently. Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to professionally address a variety of customer issues.
Ability to gain product knowledge.
Ability to carry out tasks completely, efficiently and in a timely manner.
Ability to learn freight handling standards/procedures

MINIMUMREQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION:

High School Graduate or GED

One year of work history, plus six months experience in customer service or inventory control.

EXPERIENCE

Fifteen semester hours of college in a related field may substitute for the required experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: : Sitting in the same location of standing/walking; required to stoop, climb or lift light material (10-20lbs) or equipment.
